How To Create An Audio Tour
DO AudioTour™ is 30 second mini-podcasts enabling you to describe the listing property photo in greater detail, engaging the buyer to the property and you.
To create an Audio Tour
- Sign in to your account at Do Audio Tours™ Landing page . https://www.doaudiotours.com/ As shown below. Your account will automatically default on the New Audio Tour page.
AudioTours has two ways to see your listings. 1.) Listings imported from ListHub, and 2.) Manually uploading your own listings. (See How To Upload Manual Listings Article)
If you currently have no active listings you will have an icon indicating so with a practice listing as a placeholder. You can polish your technique on recording audios and provide a demonstration to sellers. You will receive an email from us stating you have a new listing in your account once you add a listing into the MLS.
- From the New Audio Tour page click on a listing.
- Your MLS Gallery of photos will upload. The photos display in the order you upload them into your MLS. You cannot rearrange the photos in Audio Tours.
- Click on a photo you would like to record on.
- A recording page will open with the picture, the listing address, the description from the MLS and the list price.
The script box shown below with the red arrow is where the closed captioning and the language translation will derive from. To have your audio transcribe accurately you have several options:
- You can create a script and cut and paste the script directly into the box and record
or
- You can type directly into the script and record
or
- You can record and the system will transcribe for you. If you choose this option, be sure to review the script box to make sure it has captured what you said correctly.
Note: You can enter in all the scripts for the photos prior to recording by clicking on the right and left arrows next to the photo. Your script will automatically save when you click to the next photo.
- To record Click on the Red Record Button
- A message saying Allow for Audio access may first appear, click ok.
- You will see a 3, 2, 1 countdown.
- Start recording your description and click on stop recording when completed.
- If you know right away you don't like what you said, you can hit the re-record button, as shown below, and follow the 3, 2, 1 process and record again.
- You can also hit the play button to hear how you sound. If you don’t like it, hit re-record. You may re-record as many times as you like.
- Click on Save Audio when you like what you recorded.
Note: Unlike where scripts are automatically saved, recordings are not. You must click on the Save Audio button to save an audio recording.
- A message saying recording successfully saved will appear
- To move to another photo click on the X in the upper left hand side of the photo to return to your photo gallery and select another photo to record or simply use the side button on recording to move back and forth through your photos.
- Follow the same process until you are finished recording on all the photos you would like to record.
- You will notice a headphone icon will appear on all the photos you recorded on.
- One you have completed your recordings click on the X in the upper left hand side of the recording page to your full gallery of photos and
- Scroll down and click on Publish Audio Tour at the bottom of the listing.
- It will ask you to confirm, click OK.
Your Audio Tour Listing will now appear in My Audio Tours. In My Audio Tours you can Edit, View Showcase and Share your listings.
To view and hear what you have recorded Click on the 3 buttons and select View Showcase. This will open into a new tab.
